Simone Buso graduated in electronic engineering at the university of Padova in 1992. He received the Ph.D. in industrial electronics and informatics from the same university in 1997. Since 1993 he co-operates with the power electronics research group of the department of information engineering (DEI) of the university of Padova, where he is currently a scientific researcher. His main research interests are in the industrial and power electronics fields and are specifically related to: dc/dc and ac/dc converters, smart power integrated circuits, digital control and robust control of power converters, electro-magnetic compatibility in switch mode power supplies. Simone Buso is a member of the IEEE.
