Federica Vezzani is Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (RTDb) at the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies of the University of Padua.
Her research focuses on FAIR terminology, terminology ISO-standards, and specialized translation.
Since 2017, she joined the Information Management Systems research group by developing an interdisciplinary project in the field of Terminology aiming at the realisation of a multilingual terminological database in the medical field: TriMED.
This resource was designed in order to satisfy different information needs according to three possible users: physicians, patients and technical-scientific translators.
She is also currently working on a project related to commercial terminology. The resource developed in the framework of this project is called CAMEO (CommerciAl terMinology rEsOurce).
