Tramite il sito di gestione degli accessi di rete https://mail.dei.unipd.it/hostadmin è possibile accendere i propri PC da remoto.

Il servizio è disponibile per i pc che sono registrati alla rete fissa a proprio nome o per i quali si sia stati indicati come utilizzatori.

Per utilizzare il servizio:

• abilitare il Wake on Lan nel BIOS¹
• lasciare il pc spento ma collegato alla rete fissa
• accedere a hostadmin con le proprie credenziali del DEI

Nella pagina principale si trovano le due liste:

• pc registrati a proprio nome
• pc per i quali siamo stati indicati come utilizzatori

In entrambe si trova, per ciascun pc, il pulsante WakeUp; premendolo viene inviato in rete il messaggio di accensione, se il pc è correttamente configurato dopo un paio di secondi si accenderà.

Se il pc di interesse non è presente in nessuna lista chi lo ha registrato dovrà accedere ad Hostadmin e indicarvi come utilizzatore.

Through the network management site https://mail.dei.unipd.it/hostadmin you can switch on your pc at DEI from home.

The service is available for PCs that are registered on the wired network in one's own name or for which one has been indicated as user.

How to use the service:

• on the pc enable Wake on Lan in BIOS²
• switch off the pc leaving it connected to the wired network
• enter hostadmin using your own login 

In the main page there are two list:

• PCs you have registered
• PCs for which you have been registered as user

In both there is , for each PC, a WakeUp push button; it sends the power on message, if the PC is correctly configured it will resume in a few seconds.

If the PC of interest is not present in any list, the person who registered must access Hostadmin and indicate you as a user.
