JOB DESCRIPTION :The Approval Laboratory Engineer is in charge to manage the test, measurement and calibration activities of the laboratories in order to perform the approval procedure of Components having as reference the International Norms and the internal Electrolux Test Specifications and Components Supply Specifications

Objectives

 

  • Execution of tests according to the procedures reported on Test manual (TM);

  • Preparation and release of relevant documentation;

  • To support the internal network of global and regional approval laboratories on global planning activities and global test manual procedures use;

  • To apply the standards and internal Electrolux rules along the IPDP process;

  • To implement the requirements of the norm ISO/IEC 17025;

  • Feedback the test results and preliminary analysis with constructive approach to Product Architecture Governance Centre (PAGC), to Regional product Development (RPD), to GTD Laboratories and GTD E&E.

 

Key operational responsibilities

 

  • To be able to perform test, measurement and calibration activities of the laboratory in accordance with Test Manual(TM) procedures;

  • To ensure compliance with standards (internal CSS and international IEC/EN/UL) of components;

  • To perform EMC test (immunity & emission tests);

  • To be leader on managing the Risk Assessment;

  • To be part of the team on FMEA analysis.

Reporting to

 

Validation Laboratory Manager.

 

Competencies needed

 

  • Electrical / electronic degree, technical engineer or relevant experience;

  • Electrical/Electronics component knowledge ( motors, pumps, electronics boards, sensors);

  • Knowledge of laboratory equipments, data acquisitions system, testing procedures and evaluations of results;

  • Good knowledge of international standards;

  • Experience working with electric / electronic systems available for laboratory purpose;

  • Open-minded;

  • Practical problem solving skills;

  • Team oriented;

  • Ability to work within a matrix organization;

  • Project planning competence;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Creative & Proactive;

  • Willing to travel.
