I am a person whose strength lies in creativity and always being able to find a solution (possibly the best one) to problems. My big curiosity leads me to always want to discover new things, which is why I have always been fascinated by the IT world and its possible applications in everyday life. In particular I want to connect my two great passions, music and computer science, which is why I currently hold the position of Research Fellow at Centro di Sonologia Computazionale in the Department of Computer Engineering of the University of Padua.
In 2023, I concluded my Master Degree in ICT for Internet and Multimedia - Cybersystem, Multimedia and Digital Arts, with the thesis "A New Sunrise For Speech Therapy: Development of SoundRise 2.0 Application",
while in 2021 I completed my Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with the thesis "Facebook Friend Requests' Analysis: development of tools for data collection and analysis", both at the University of Padua.
During my master's degree, I worked as a high school computer science teacher.
Currently, I am a research fellow at CSC in the Department of Information Engineering, after winning the Roads to Oral Archives and Sustainability (ROADS), a Project of Significant National Interest (PRIN), which aims to recover and preserve oral archives from the last fifty years, thus enabling the research activities of scholars in the fields of linguistics, glottology, oral history, and ethnomusicology.
Anyway, my research area concerns sound and music computing, which is the combination of scientific, technological and artistic methodologies to understand, model and generate sounds and music through computational approaches, developing educational applications and games. For example, I am developing SoundRise, an application that enables children with hearing disabilities to learn to recognize and modulate the sound of their own voice.
If you are interested in doing your thesis project (bachelor's or master's) with me, write me an email!
Since childhood, I'm a music lover.
I love listening to lots of music, from many different genres, and discover some new song to add to my playlists!
I self-taught myself to play guitar and piano, and since October 2021, I have been taking singing lessons. Occasionally, you can find me singing in some local club, restaurant or pizzeria, always together with my guitar. I would also like to learn more and more about the most theoretical aspects of harmony, but I'm still working on that, bit by bit!
Since a few years, I dedicate myself to the creation of flyers, posters, logos, brochures and posts for social networks for events promoted by my town, events promoted by the library and parish activities, and for events in locals in my areas.
So, if you are interested for your business or for private purposes, I am available for the creation of these graphics.
